At The Buzzard's Nest, we're committed to minimising our impact on the environment. The design was to nestle amongst it's surroundings, allowing nature to envelope the structures. We do not use chemicals to control any unwanted vegetation, just the friendly snips and shears.
Our drinking water is piped from a well, powered by solar panels and battery storage, our platforms are all floating, avoiding soils disturbance and we have a grey water filtration system. The Toilet is an incinerator toilet powered by Propane.

Protecting Local Wildlife and Habitats
We believe in giving back to the environment that sustains us. We limited impact on the surroundings in our design and ensured all habitats were protected during the build. We are merely custodians and are keen to ensure longevity of the surrounding land, hence beginning our planting and regeneration programme by planting over 100 trees and shrubs.
